9 Ball - Rules

1. The player must start from the number 1 ball. If your number 1 ball is in the pocket after you break, you must start to strike from the number 2 ball. The number 9 ball is the key to win the game. Even if the other 8 balls are in, the winner will be the one who strikes the number 9 in. If the 9 ball is in when you break the balls, you win the game.

2. If the ball is pocketed on this foul or any other, it stays in the pocket. The exception is the 9 ball itself. If it is pocketed on a foul, it is brought out of the pocket and placed on the Foot spot.

3. The "Push Out" only happens to the first shot after breaking the balls. Suppose player A breaks. If player B now has a tough or impossible kick, he/she can call "push out" and then hit the cue ball with the cue tip, making it go anywhere he/she wants it to go. Player B doesn't even need to contact any other balls. Player A now has the shot. At this point, player A can reject the opportunity to play the shot if he/she does not feel it's a good shot. If player A rejects the shot, player B must take the shot. When players want to play "push out", they should tell the referee first. If the cue ball goes into the pocket on the break, the other player loses the opportunity to use "push out." Instead, he/she will have a free ball, which is called a "Ball in Hand," which he/she can place anywhere.
